Keep your MC Scow sailboat protected from the elements with the MC Scow Skirted Mooring Cover. Designed for durability and ease of use, this cover offers full-boat coverage with added skirt protection, ensuring that your boat stays in top shape all year round.
This full deck over-boom cover features a heavy-duty nylon zipper that extends from the mast to the sidestay, safeguarded by a flap to prevent UV damage. The stand-up mast collar with drawcord closure and flaps that snap around stays offer additional protection against water seepage and UV discoloration. The cover's full side skirt shields the sides, transom, and bow from UV rays while securing the cover to the boat. The 5/16" shock cord in the hem of the skirt cups under the bow and holds snugly under the 2 back corners. The skirts snaps together at the sidestay splits and at the bow. There also is a pouch to protect your tiller from weathering, and the pouch protrudes out the back just under the aft screen vent. Port and starboard webbing tie-downs with plunger buckles are provided at front trailer support area, and additional webbing loops are provided along sides at the hemline if further tie down is desired. Large screen at aft end plus vent over front deck allows for flow though ventilation. Reinforcements at gooseneck just behind mast collar, at end of boom, over cleats and pulleys, and back corners of boat. Exceptionally good UV protection for sails left flaked over boom during mooring.
