Mooring Cover (MOR)
Full deck over-boom cover with heavy duty nylon zipper running from the mast to sidestay. A flap snaps over zipper to protect zipper from damaging UV. Stand up mast collar with drawcord closure. Flaps that snap around stays to protect chain plates from water seepage and shade deck from UV discoloring in the stay areas. When your cover arrives, it will come with.
| 1. | Snaps for the cover |
| 2. | A setting tool to attach the snaps to the cover, so they will line up to the snaps already on your boat. |
| 3. | New screw-in snaps for the boat in case you have some missing or never had any snaps. |
| 4. | Installation instructions |
| | You will need a hammer to put the snaps in the cover. Installing the snap hardware after the cover is on the boat ensures the exact best fit. |
We supply you with both the cover snaps and hull snaps. Large screen at aft end allows for ventilation plus vent over front deck. Cover is reinforced for extra wear protection at gooseneck just behind mast collar, at end of boom, over spinnaker cleats and pulleys, over all standard-class protruding cleats and eyes, and at back corners of boat. Exceptionally good UV protection for sails left flaked over boom during mooring.
*NOTE: If you have an Allen Highlander, see the Available Options Allen Boat Modification page. The Allen boat has no protruding rubrail to screw snaps into, so you need to select one of these 2 options. |
| 1. | Order our Skirted cover to help hold the cover on with the shock cord that is in the hem of the skirt. |
| 2. | Or select "Tie to Trailer" below where it asks cover attachment method and your cover will get a 6 1/2" hem with shock cord in the hem to hug the side of the boat. Since there is no rubrail to stop the shock cord from riding up, you will need to tie down. There are webbing loops on the underside of the hemline of the cover, and we provide tie cord to tie from the loops to your trailer. |
